Lighting Project:
We are excited to announce that in early summer we hired Guth-DeConzo Engineering — a lighting design and electrical engineering firm from Troy — to design a new lighting system to replace the antiquated lighting that has served the community’s needs in Cole’s Woods for the last 50 years.
In the new design, we envision having free-standing fiberglass poles with power lines buried in conduit where possible to minimize storm damage. LED lights will be chosen that provide energy conservation as well as the best light to illuminate the trails. We will have more specific information about this project once the electrical engineers have completed their work.
The Friends of Cole’s Woods thanks the many community members and local businesses who have been so generous with their time and charitable donations through the years. Your generosity has helped to make Cole’s Woods one of this area’s premier trail systems!
